I’m a Pakistani-Canadian lawyer by profession, but founder of Haya Swimwear by absolute choice. I found Haya Swimwear out of necessity – struggling to find something to wear to take my 3 year old son to his swim lessons at the local pool. I decided to combine my passion for design and commitment to the environment and created a line of full coverage swimwear with premium eco-sustainable fabric – buttery soft to the touch and comfortable to wear – chic and stylish all at the same time. I want to take space in an industry where modest options are often forgotten and choices are grossly limited. I can’t wait to share this journey with you and I’m so glad you are here.
About our fabric - Italian Carvico Vita
Haya Swimwear uses premium Italian Carvico Vita fabric that transforms issues arising from waste into solutions for fashion. Vita is versatile, hyper-resistant, sleek, elegant, stretchy, soft, and breathable. It’s a unique blend of muscle compression and comfort. Thanks to its innovative construction, it boasts more than double the resistance to chlorine attacks, suncreams, and oils compared to competitor fabrics. You are going to love how it feels.
Designed in Vancouver, ethically produced in Bali
All of Haya Swimwear was designed by myself and developed in Vancouver at the prototype stage with a local female owned creative house. I sourced high and low for a manufacturer overseas to provide ethical production at every stage of development and Haya Swimwear is proud to be an ethical and sustainable brand.
